Ok has anyone heard of this "Sector 7" website...thing?

It's some kind of tie-in to the movie, i just found out (by accident) this place exists, but the password the website says is supposed to activate it doesnt do shit.

Has anyone found this yet or knows how to get it to open? I mean what is this some kind of alternate reality game or something?

Oh and yay they brought the old transformers sound back. Good, the other one in the previous trailers sounded retarded. :) Thsi trailer makes it look like ID4, in a way, which is a good thing.

God-Damn that looks Awesome :D . ("We Are at War with a technologically superior race") and the Transformation sound as Valdy said.

Weak points: Bumblebee looks like he'll end up getting pummeled to save the humans following a "meaningful bonding experience via angsty music", focus on the humans (And a romance) and the faces really look bad (Especially Bee's).

It's a viral marketing campaign for the film. Among other things, Sector 7 released a couple of MP3 clips that reveal how Starscream's voice sounds.

I wish the trailers would include at least a little dialogue from the Transformers themselves. From how things have been presented, you almost get the impression that they might all be mute in the final film...

Oh, wow. That's certainly a Michael Bay film, all right. Heh. I'll probably end up seeing it. Though, I've gotta find a better clip than the one Vald posted. The quality on that one was shit.

Nope, but one can only hope for an appearence in the sequel, especially since the writers have named Soundwave as a Transformer they want to do in the future.

This is the guy they want to use to win over "young people?" Are they completely daft? I'd rather vote for a pile of shit than a Jesus freak social regressive.

I wonder if the Old School transformer sound will eb in the real movie? It sounds like something they could easily add just to stir up the fanboys, but not have in the real thing.

Did you not watch the recent trailer that was just posted? The transforming sound was in it.

He did. What he is asking is whether they'll keep that, rather than tacking it on to the trailer when it wasn't there before.

I'm still unclear if Peter Cullen's doing Ironhide's voice as well. In his recent interview he mentioned Michael Bay and the casting people being at awe when he also read for Ironhide, but did he get the job?

From the interview:
Question: Do you see Ironhide?

Cullen: Oh yeah. Ironhide was fun too. When I went to the audition, the first time I met Michael Bay, there was a young girl, assistant that had the "sides" (lines) that I was going to read and it was Ironhide and Prime together. So I was talking to Ironhide and the girl was not a very good actor but she was a reader but doing fine, and I stand beside her: "Do you mind if I read that? I played him in the series too" and I got into it and said: Prime Voice: Ironhide G1 Ironhide Voice: - Ah, come on Prime! Let's Kick Some Butt! And there was Bay just. (Imitates Michael Bay staring & speechless)

It's going to be weird hearing Hugo Weaving's voice coming out of Megs. Maybe he'll put an Agent Smith voice on.

Ah. Alright then.

Wikipedia suggests it will, though that's based on a TV spot, which has it in the same place as the trailer.

Heh, in the scene where what looks to be Jazz is stomped on by Starscream, there's a squeaky-toy sound effect.

Bumblebee's gun makes a 'laser gun' noise when he fires it? There do seem to be a lot of smoke-trails and projectiles flying around, though.
