MPD aka Multiple Personality Disorder. The totally illogical idea that traumatic events spawn multiple personalities inside the mind which are further capable of coping with the event.
To me this is bullshit because what makes the primary personality less capable of coping then the always-depressed bitchy personality that results? And which is the original? Whos to say they werent there from the beginning of the persons existance and just never had motor control but did have sensory input and seperate memory? MPD is bullshit, plain and simple..

According to the docs (you can't ask me, because I seem to have blocked a lot of stuff from memory) I had a case of MPD linked to the ADD I've had since early childhood, with a good dose of paranoia. I've been taking meds ever since I was 12, and without them, I tend to get........strange.
