You'd think the Sith are better than that, after all the KOTOR comics and what not based on that era.

Ridiculous. UGH... Never again.

Then again Jacen fought like a bitch in his previous duel too, refusing to use sith lightening incase his daughter saw, like he couldn't fudge her memoy like he did to Ben. Jacen is Sith-light as opposed to a real bad ass sith.

Because Traviss hates Jedi and everything to do with them. She's stated this before.

Then I really suspect that she's writing for the wrong universe.

This is the guy they want to use to win over "young people?" Are they completely daft? I'd rather vote for a pile of shit than a Jesus freak social regressive.
Here's hoping that his political career goes down in flames and, hopefully, a hilarious gay sex scandal.

I don't doubt it, but do you have a quote for that?

Also, where's Jaina in all this?

But then I see Vader as a tragic character who's been betrayed by everyone, and I can't help thinking of the Jedi as self-serving unelected elitist spoon-benders making whoopee on Republic taxpayers' credits. It's an iconoclastic journo world-view. Believe me, Order 66 was long overdue. I have a couple of Jedi that I don't want to shoot on sight, but they're my own creations, so I could make them a little humbler and more aware of the consequences they create for others.
Boba Fett was sheer bloody joy to write, of course; my Mando boys never let me down. Getting into Jedi heads was that much harder. But I swore I could get into the most repellent characters' heads and see them as they see themselves, so I had to. I still wouldn't trust the Jedi Council with my wallet, let alone with running my country, but you won't spot that in the books. I keep my spoonbenderist views to myself.

So let's see, the only things she likes are characters she made up and Mandalorians who she obviously has a fetish for. How the hell did this woman get that job? I mean honestly? She thinks Jedi are the most repellent characters? How many lame, oh dear god, by the Force, please die characters has the EU introduced? How many people have they had that are far and away worse then any Jedi ever? I know they say that the road to hell is paved with good intentions and that represents the old Jedi, Anakin, and now Jacen, but this woman is just ignoring not only the core of the universe, but the bulk of its history with her "Jedi are teh eval." I mean KJA was bad, but at least he was a simply a wanker, this girl is like a bad comicbook villian bordering on cliche.

Ya know... we should send her a copy of KOTOR. She will hate the game. Autograph it: "From the Talifans."

Plus, if Dark Horse writes a comic on that, send it to her too.

Seriously, I hate that woman. Poe, did you pull off that stun at Comic Con?

Sometime, when there's a con she's at, I want to shake her hand and say 'Poe wanted me to tell you I got this close.' and walk away, but I think that'd be illegal.

Eh.. I don't know.. it does have Canderous..
And she'd probably adore KOTOR 2 what with it's "death to all Jedi!" story, Kreia and her "Force = EVIL" thing and the whole "Mandalorians RAR!" aspect.
Then again, Kreia's final word on the Mandalorians might make KT explode into a fit of rage.

You're talking about a person who likens the Clone Wars to a series of special ops and an Iraqi style "go to war with the army you have, not the army you want" type of conflict. Because everyone knows how well that worked in practice.

But.. but.. it was with MANDALORIAN clones. That means they're 6 billion times better than droids and can kill with their bare hands, dirty looks and genitals if they really don't like you!!

Yeah, every time a Jedi crossed paths with a clone in her prequal books I almost expected the Jedi to sigh and breathlessly exclaim "WHAT A GUY!" ala Ace Rimmer.

In KT's view, who exactly betrayed Vader?

I'm actually very curious about this. Mace? Palpatine? Surely not Obi-Wan? Vader did the betraying, he wasn't really betrayed.

Vader is psychotic and in his mind everybody was out to get him and betray him. Nothing anyone did was ever good enough. "You're putting me on the council but not making me the youngest Jedi Master ever?? WHAT?? I HATE YOU!!!"

KT... well.. I'm not surprised she would take Vader's view. Seeing as she does have psychotic tendencies, at least.

Well yes, but you are Revan, the killer of the Mandalorians, who defeated them at Malachor V for GOOD and never again arose as a space power.

But seriously, her stupid tantrums are getting out of hand.

Yeah, because a "complex" Boba Fett and "Mandos" (never refrenced in the movies ever) are really more STAR WARS than the Jedi Knights, which, last I checked, all the movies were about one's rise and another's fall.

I haven't read any of her books but this woman does sound like a delusional obsessive fanfic writer rather than any sort of professional. Is there some political/contacts reason why she got the job? Were there seriously no better or at least sane writers prepared to take it on? Has anyone done an honest FAQ on her yet?

I haven't been paying so much attention to this, and just read this last page of the thread. So Travissty hates Jedi now, and thinks Anakin was betrayed? Did this dumbass perception of hers come before or after her ass-covering over the clone army numbers?

You know, I was only joking and pointing out the logical conclusions of Traviss's "3 million" BS (which she didn't seem to think through herself, as she came up with half-assed excuse after excuse) when I made my parody video about the evil Jedi. :P
"They're not triangular, but they are more or less blade-shaped"- Thrawn McEwok on the shape of Bakura destroyers

"I've already laid out rules for this thread that we're not going to make these evidential demands"- Dark Moose on supporting your claims

Sadly, it makes a lot of sense.

If she views it this way, it becomes clear how in her fucked up world that Palpatine, the Trade Federation AND the Jedi all conspired to make the Clone Wars to appear far more massive then it really was.

Of course the fact that reality disagrees with her is of little to no consequence.
