Stuff you took from others without them knowing

Post by Asst. Asst. Lt. Cmdr. Smi »

Has there ever been a time where you took something form someone else, and they didn't know? Do you fell sorry that you did it?

Anyway, in 7th grade, my last year in the Catholic school system, I took an old Spanish-English dictionary from my school, was well as a tennis ball-sized wad of the sticky stuff they used to put posters on the wall. And no, I don't feel sorry at all.

A Desert Twister MTG Card. We played a game, but he accidentally left it, and I didn't get a chance to return it.

Cigarette lighters. For some reason, I'm always wandering off with other people's lights. I'll be at someone's house, borrow a lighter, and then stick it in my pocket and forget about it. Once I was at a guy's house in Buffalo, NY, stole a lighter, lost it weeks later in Chester, PA, and then about a month later was back in the same house in Buffalo and saw the exact same lighter had made it back there somehow.

cigarette lighters dont count. they dont belong to anybody. maybe they belong to themselves but they travel around a lot. no body buys them either. they normally turn up somehow magically and leave as magically as they came. you cant domesticate cigarette lighters, they´ve got their own free will.

on topic: the most valueble thing i´ve ever stolen was probably one of these poles with the reflector thingis on them which can be found aligned to streets.

A kid's toy MATCHBOX helicopter in Year 3. He dropped it on the floor during class.

It was uber cool- looked like the helicopter from Blue Thunder, but it was red. I just dropped my pen next to it, got up to pick it up, and snatched the helicopter while I was down there. I still have it.

Though the filthy little bastard was one of those people who liked to chew his toys. Luckily most of it was metal- good ol Matchbox.

Oh, and also in Bankstown Plaza this little Asian kid was playing with a Cobra Commander GI JOE (my brother and I collected them until we had about 40 of them- we stopped when the toys started getting really fucking stupid)- for those familiar with the GI JOE comic it was the Crimson Guard imposter Cobra Commander outfit (not the traditional Cloth mask) from the time of the Cobra civil war with Serpentor- it was metal armor with a helmet wit ha tube running from it to a thimble on his back. It was cool. The kid left it behind for a second, and I sprung into action and liberated it.

To this day, it's the only Cobra Commander figure we ever got.

And here's a pic:

When I was in high school I once wore my future BF's jacket home. I was freezing in the classroom and borrowed his jacket to keep myself warm, and I ended up wearing it home without him figuring out what had happened until I gave it back to him the next day! Oops! :D

I use to put exploding cigarette loads in a few random cigs when my shipmates left their packs lying around. The'd explode just like in a Bugs Bunny cartoon when the person smoking them took a drag.
