Whenever I play Dark Crusade, I sometimes encounter what can only be described as "Phantom Units" Enemy units that I can't attack or see very well. They aren't stealthed, as they do not reveal in the presence of commander units, units with leaders, or turrets. I cannot attack these units, and can barely ever see them. It's like they're only partially there. I tried patching the game, and updating my video card drivers, but they are still there.
Has anyone else encountered this problem?

Remember that stealth changed in DC, and commanders no longer see stealth (except for warlocks). Make sure you're spotting with one of your army's designated spotters:Darksider wrote:Whenever I play Dark Crusade, I sometimes encounter what can only be described as "Phantom Units" Enemy units that I can't attack or see very well. I didn't know that. However, several of these phantom units were units that shouldn't be stealth capable. I cant see much of them, but on one occasion I was able to make out a standard Chaos marine squad, and on another, a squad of tankbustas. IIRC those can't stealthMiddleclass wrote:Remember that stealth changed in DC, and commanders no longer see stealth (except for warlocks). It's not a bug, it's a feature!
Granted, a pretty stupid one. And yes, Chaos Marines and Tankbustaz can infiltrate.

Chaos Marines have stealth in DC. I like that. Stealthifying Chaos marines and then wiping out enemy scouts is very good

Yes they can. At least, Tankbustas could as of the original, and CSM always could.Darksider wrote:I didn't know that.
