In that case, they'd better name every single ship and character seen in Mos Eisley. :P

I'm interested in what they say about the Outrider taking off from the planet.

It'll probably be nothing more than pointing it out and saying that it was added for the Special Edition.

I think he means in-universe info. What it was doing in Mos Eisley at the time.

There's a little restaurant in Mos Eisley that serves the best Coronet-style deep-dish pizza in the quadrant.

What I'm wondering is how much the vaunted Holocron and/or their "extensive research" is going to help with the inevitable continuity errors that these new names and tech details will create. And how much they're going to depend on fan research to keep them straight. One example I find suspicious:

April 30: http://www.starwars.com/episode-iv/expl ... episode-iv

May 4: http://starwars.wikia.com/index.php?tit ... id=1310190

May 7: http://www.starwars.com/episode-iv/expl ... episode-iv

Nice work, Pablo! :P

This reminds me of the time I found a KDY daughter company building Jabba's Khetanna (according to The Bounty Hunter trilogy), thus making Ubrikkian Industries and all its subsidiaries a subsidiary of Kuat Drive Yards. :P

And only now do I realise that they're following the DVD chapter stops for each update. In that case, it'll take quite a bit less time to go through the whole movie (still about a year, though, since there are 50 chapters) then I previously thought.

Whoa, has that yellow hangar scrubber droid been there all along? I thought I saw one, but it was only made for TPM.

And you may ask yourself, 'Where does that highway go to?'

So the Jawa sandcrawler has a steam-powered nuclear fusion engine? What?

Well, todays nuclear engines are "steam-powered", also... from a certain point of view.

Go with what works, I guess. Their use on the sandcrawlers could have been due to a significant cost and reliability factor.

The thing is, if it had been a fusion-powered steam engine, that would have sort of made sense; they use fusion power to create steam and use the steam to drive an engine. But a steam-powered fusion engine... what is that even supposed to be?

Well that's the rationalization we've adopted, but we all know it was an error to begin with.

Just pretend it isn't bass-ackward and move on. There are more important issues to worry about.

Maybe the Jawas managed to get that bubble cold fusion thing to work? :)

Hopefully this isn't too bad a necro, but does anyone else find it annoying how often they repeat the same info over and over? And not just the obscure stuff, how many times does 3PO's vocabulator need to be pointed out? I mean, is someone really going to mistake it for something other then his mouth?
'Ai! ai!' wailed Legolas. 'A Balrog! A Balrog is come!'
Gimli stared with wide eyes. 'Durin's Bane!' he cried, and letting his axe fall he covered his face.
'A Balrog,' muttered Gandalf. 'Now I understand.' He faltered and leaned heavily on his staff. 'What an evil fortune! And I am already weary.'

No, there wasn't any update last week. Hopefully there'll be two chapters up this week.

EDIT: And no update today either. :? Hyperspace is a ripoff now that they quit with the only features I was interested in (the Photoreceptor and the Galactic Gallery) but now this? Have they lost interest?
