Note: I believe the video is no longer viewable. Starwars.com no longer has it playing at the link and youtube.com was forced to remove it.
Coyote: Warm it in the microwave first to avoid that 'necrophelia' effect.

I much preferred the old cartoony style. This one looks... off. But I still look forward to getting a better look at the Clone Wars.

That shouldn't surprise you. The fairly common (upgraded) Space Doughnuts are quite capable of easily beating Venators, according to the ICS at least. If anything, on-screen, the Confederacy has the biggest ships, I have no problem believing they've got a huge dreadnought with some kind of superlaser on it stashed somewhere.

To my mind, the AT-TE looked faintly silly going onto that cliff though.

In the Living Force RPG campaign setting, one of the CIS opponents is some kind of powerful warship called the Shadowblade. Don't think it had a superlaser, though.

What about the large cannons of the Munificent-Class? Can they already count as superlaser (they're capable of destroying a 1,000-kilometer ice-moon after twenty minutes of charging up)?

Oh I understand fully. Comparing the Venator to an upgraded Lucrehulk is like comparing a Sherman to a Tiger tank. Still doesn't stop the Venator from being my favorite star ship. I'm just going to be sad seeing lots of them get blown away.

not necessarily; IIRC it takes a 'flotilla' (6-12 Venators) to take down the shields of a Lucrehulk, so....

Can't the End of Ep III be analyzed, as saxton did and I linked to up the post

You do know it often took a platoon of Shermans to kill one Tiger. Right? You're helping my comparison.

The ROTS ICS only mentions it take a flotilla to take down the shields. IT doesn't give much info on weaponry :P

However, there is that Hyperspace image showing the shitload of gus on a Lucrehulk so you win 8)
