Theatre of War, anyone tried it?

Post by haard »

Did anyone try Theatre of War?

It looks like something that could be awesome, but might also become dull after the first few hours. Anyone have opinions? Is this a game for the modern grognard?

Thus Aristotle laid it down that a heavy object falls faster then a light one does.
The important thing about this idea is not that he was wrong, but that it never occurred to Aristotle to check it.

Its good, but with some flaws. Tanks feel a little anaemic in their treatment of infantry. Controls are tight, but could be better and the game doesn't appear to be brilliantly optimised as yet - but that could just be me turning all the details up.
