okay, this is the basic premise, tell me whether you like it or not.
In the year 2386, the Federation was destroyed, the Dominion had broken the treaty and took over Federation space. Earth and Vulcan were burned from the universe. The Dominion established rule with an iron fist, growing with new power.
The Romulan Star Empire, had been broken up in 2380 from the Romulan Civil War and never recovered, making it weak and easy to conquer. Romulus and Remus were now the property of the Dominion, for the remnant of the fleet had fled.
The Klingon Empire, which was still rebuilding, also came down faster than either the Romulans or the Federation, there worlds and ships were scrapped to be made into fleets for the Dominion, while their people were turned to slave labor. Their culture forever destroyed.
But, in the Briar Patch, the remnants of the Romulans and the Federation fleets met, where they would hide until they were ready to fight again. Together, building a new city on the planet Baku, where they would begin again, and come to strike bakc at the Dominion when they were ready.
Then, a new wormhole sprang up from another galaxy, where a new empire would come, to conquer.
