How do you think a Gundam would fare in battle against any of these

The entire military of the Earth Alliance, Oz, and the colonies against one ISD with a full compliment of TIE's.

Mechs?

Acutal Gundums are manverable but can't run away

As for Imp VS OZ?

Imp Hypes in lets planet take it out of hyperspace

Sure it won't happen this easily but the point is intresting however we know Ties have a biig speed advantage on Gundums

Givin *gundaumium has unknow strength acutal killing them is up in the air but I don't think they would have much chance of hitting them as suped up Machine gunes can easly kill most mechs, I think low Kilo-ton lasers would hurt

Don't forget shields

They don't have to, look at Heavy Arms whenever we see him fight. He stands there like a target, lets them use all thier ammo on him and then let's loose with those Monster Gattlings of his. Gundam Pilots seem to think that Avioding fire is something other people do.

Not really, since the show is like a Universal Century Gundam show. Same plot, but with pretty boys to rake in the horny girls (most of whom want to see the G-boys get it on with each other) , overly powerful Gundams, lots of anti-war preaching which went against their use of Gundams. So in short, it sucks. The end to the series is about as ambiguous as the G-boy's sexuality. Basically its the best Gundam show to market since its a sure hit. Not a good show, but its pays the bills.

The guy's a few cards short of a deck

Realy look at what he does from when he first comes in he's normal, He screws up gets shot down, gets all distant he starts coming back to nomaly and then shoots down what he THINKS is the Oz transport but instead kills all the peace loving guys and he mental crumbles over that too. He comes back some more after that sllooowy another problem occurs(Can't remeber what, I'm kinda on a blank from Ep 29-44 as what happend there) Then he finaly gets time to himself and is nearly all the way back to normal then he pilots the Make you go crazy and kill people Gundum which is all good with him so he goes nuts agian and fiaaaaaaaaanlllly just at the end of the series he recovers

Yeah, I guess I kinda like Deathsythe. Its the most faithful of all of them to the RX-78 design. Heh, I was planing to take a GM 1/144th kit and combine it with a Wing Zero Gundam's backpack and skirt armor to make a GM flight type. Wouldn't that be humilating for the supposedly uber- Gundam?

lets see gundam wing vs. Empire. First off I think Gundam 0083 would wiipe the floor with half of the GW crew but thats a different story. Against a squadron of fighters, I think they wouldn't last very long. Against larger ships however, they could do some damage. The also would cause major damage on the ground. I would pay to see the Deathsythe cut open a AT-AT, or the Altron taking out the Hoth base.

spongyblue the problem with deathscythe is that while it would be cool and ISD given a little time can simply lock any Gundum in place and pound away on him

However thier are blind spots so its a toss up of can he figure out where they are before he gets nailed

Hmm....with hyperspace, I don't think SW could lose. They could blow some shit up, when they get swarmed with that stupid anime crap, they hyperspace out, then hyperspace back in, blow some shit up, repeat. And yeah, tractor beams and ion cannons would be a very nice combination in this situation....stupid anime crap going to beat SW....NEVER!!! Imagine them trying to take out an SSD/Executor-class SD.
