How did the Enterprise E get home?
I know this technically isn't a "vs" topic, but it's bugged me ever since I saw "First Contact" (IMHO, the best of the TNG cast Trek movies)...
At the end, Picard says "Set a course for the 24th century..." and POOF.. off they go.
How the heck did they get back home? This is never explained, considering the Borg are all dead and their equipment destroyed, right?

All the time? No...absolutely not. Time travel has only been apart of roughly 30% of the movies!EmperorMing wrote:Don't they do this all the time? I agree it gets very old.........the deal with the whales was enough.....too much IMO, but people seem to like that movie.

How can you NOT laugh at that scene, or Scotty's "Hello Computer" scene?

It was hilarious that, once he found out it had a keyboard interface, he was instantly able to start up and use a CAD programVertigo1 wrote:How can you NOT laugh at that scene, or Scotty's "Hello Computer" scene?

How did the E-E get home? Relativistic time dialation. No technobabble required; just fscking huge engines.
It's not my place in life to make people happy. Don't talk to me unless you're prepared to watch me slaughter cows you hold sacred. Don't talk to me unless you're prepared to have your basic assumptions challenged. If you want bunnies in light, talk to someone else.
