How did the Enterprise E get home?

Post by Kurgan »

I know this technically isn't a "vs" topic, but it's bugged me ever since I saw "First Contact" (IMHO, the best of the TNG cast Trek movies)...

At the end, Picard says "Set a course for the 24th century..." and POOF.. off they go.

How the heck did they get back home? This is never explained, considering the Borg are all dead and their equipment destroyed, right?

All the time? No...absolutely not. Time travel has only been apart of roughly 30% of the movies! :x

I agree it gets very old.........the deal with the whales was enough.....too much IMO, but people seem to like that movie.

Hey, atleast "The Voyage Home" had the benefit of being a hilarious movie. :)

"Gracey is pregnant." - Spock
*Dr. Taylor slams on the breaks causing the tires to scream*

How can you NOT laugh at that scene, or Scotty's "Hello Computer" scene?
"I once asked Rebecca to sing Happy Birthday to me during sex. That was funny, especially since I timed my thrusts to sync up with the words. And yes, it was my birthday." - Darth Wong

It was hilarious that, once he found out it had a keyboard interface, he was instantly able to start up and use a CAD program :D

How did the E-E get home? Relativistic time dialation. No technobabble required; just fscking huge engines.
It's not my place in life to make people happy. Don't talk to me unless you're prepared to watch me slaughter cows you hold sacred. Don't talk to me unless you're prepared to have your basic assumptions challenged. If you want bunnies in light, talk to someone else.
