Yea the Web Site techs (or the manager at least) really doesn't seem to give a shit about updates and ongoing projects. They've gotten more unprofessional over recent months I think.
They may well have had a batch of initial content that's been doled out, and now they're waiting for a new batch to be made. I expect there was some management decision involved 'how many viewers was this feature getting', 'is it worth allocating more writer time to' etc.
