Lets suppose that the War between the Galaxies have ben underway for a while, and one Federation citizen takes a runabout full of Rebel and Imperial hardware, computer data, and a detailed timeline of the Imperial conquest...and does the warp 10 around the sun timewarp maneuver to go back in time to when E-d was at Farpoint.
This citizen figures a way around the temporal prime directive by claiming Hypermatter=Omega particles.
Gives detailed biographies on the various personell in the Rebel Alliance and Empire, schematics on the various starships, fighters, death star, etc.,
scematics of turbolazers, ion cannons, hyperdrives, droids, materials engineering, The Force, and everything else of relevance in their galaxy.
Could Starfleet and the rest of the galaxy come together and effectively prepare for an onslaught 15-20 yearse post-Farpoint?

Hmmmm
Can a medival society understand cars even if you explained it to them.
Give em a couple of centuries to get ready and maybe they will have developed sufficient manufacturing capabilities to actually start producing meaningful amounts of Star Wars tech.
That is also assuming that they don't just kill the guy, take the tech and just sit there not able to understand jack.

Reguardless of whether they could duplicate the tech or not, they would NEVER be able to match the industrial capablities. Which is and always has been the ultimate trump card for the empire. Even if the Federation could destroy 100 imperial ships for every ship they lose, they still would lose the war.

They have neither the tech capablities...like many engineers will back this up...I could give DaVinci the spec to my computer...and he would have no way of rebuilding it.
Spec mean nothing if the tech is not even there to begin with.
And they have nowhere near the industrial capabilites.
The Empire wins with wondering how does such a small civ have such knowledge of their tech.

If I understand this right Feds do the best they can to advance in 10 years and then unite the Galaxy the go into full war both sides using all they can get I'd Give Star Trek 7days.
7 days to create Earth 7 days to plunge the Galaxy into destruction.

Personally, I would think people in the Fed would get paranoid and take a personal mission to try and stop the Empire. Like Picard taking the Enterprise in. Unfortunately, he'd be slaughtered. And without him to hold the fragility of the Trek universe together, it would crumple even faster than 20 years later when the Empire lays the Smackdown on them.

If it would take that long.it would crumple even faster than 20 years later when the Empire lays the Smackdown on them.
The Empire, in case of a full-scale invasion with a fleet consisting of several hundred VSD and ISD, an ECS, a thousand escorts and of course a large ground force such as Nebulon-B and Corvettes could eleminate the Federation's starfleet, infrastructure and government within a day, annex the territory and conquer the planets with ground tropps within another week.

What I was refering to the time difference due to the time travel that was referred to above. The Fed crumples without Picard before the Empire even discovers the way to get through, which by the timeline that the poster put ahead was 20 years later. I didn't mean to make it sound like it would take the Empire 20 years. I agree with you, it would take a matter of days.
