I found this website through a recent thread here: Empire: Oceans Arise.
I like the art, even though the story looks like such a hackneyed, cliche'd recyk job as to be eye-rolling-ly bad. But here's the deal; I'd like to figure out what art program this is and maybe get a copy for my own use,but after going over this website I cannot find any notations as to what media he's using.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.
Help identify this art program..?

Something about Libertarianism always bothered me. Then one day, I realized what it was:
Libertarian philosophy can be boiled down to the phrase, "Work Will Make You Free."
In Libertarianism, there is no Government, so the Bosses are free to exploit the Workers.
In Communism, there is no Government, so the Workers are free to exploit the Bosses.
So in Libertarianism, man exploits man, but in Communism, its the other way around!
If all you want to do is have some harmless, mindless fun, go H3RE INST3ADZ0RZ!!
Grrr! Fight my Brute, you pansy!

It is some species of 3D modeling program. There are some good ones for free, the high-end ones go for about $3000. Sometimes you can get a student discount.
They do take some time to learn.
Free ones:
Blender

Expensive ones:
Lightwave

3Ds Max

Here are some images I created with the free Blender program

Yes, I figured that the galactic cruiser Leif Ericson needed something rugged for planetary exploration. Along with Ark II. I found an artist who let me use his Landmaster computer model. It look nice with my spacecraft model.Cpl Kendall wrote:I like the little homage to Damnation Alley in picture 11.Nyrath wrote:http://www.projectrho.com/portfolio/index.html

Hey Coyote, it could be Bryce (website here.)
The company is actually giving away version 5.5 for free, and you can then upgrade to 6.0 for $20. It's a nice program, too. It's been 8 or 9 years since I used it myself, but I liked it.
