New Imperial recruitment video

Post by Darwin »

Pretty sure this is new, if someone else posted this first, my apologies.

Well done CGI here, and a wider range of Imperial equipment than usual.

No, it's quite old actually. Several years. Sorry. :P

I'll keep it open for now though.

I prefer the recruitment posters.

Stormtrooper Corps.
Stormtrooper Corps.
Fighter Corps.

Though that's pretty good.

the 1998 copyright bit on the video threw me, really. I don't remember cg that good being really accessible by an individual at that time.

Well, it was new to me.

Are the TIE-torpedo-thing and the submarine official?

It was nice to see the stormies in camouflage and the ISDs with the heavy turrets.

The TIE Torpedo Bomber is a toy. I'm not aware of any official imperial subs like that.

I haven't seen that before and I thought it looked very cool. Heck, he had even modeled the corvette better than ILM did for ROTS and the AT-ATs seemed to have the right height.

First time seeing this too...

Darn good for a '98 fan project!

Please tell me the guy got a job offer from LucasArts out of this...!
fun/fantasy movies existed before the overrated Star Wars came out. What made it seem 'less dark' was the sheer goofy aspect of it: two robots modeled on Laurel & Hardy, and a smartass outlaw with bigfoot co-pilot and their hotrod pizza-shaped ship, and they were sucked aboard a giant Disco Ball. -adw1
Someone asked me yesterday if Dracula met Saruman and there was a fight, who would win. I just looked at this man. What an idiotic thing to say. I mean really, it was half-witted. - Christopher Lee

submarines are used in the GFFA. There is mention of them made in one of the later NJO books, Reminant i think.

They also have a supply of other aquatic vehicles on both sides. That vid sub, however, is probably not official.

This was done by one guy, alone, in 1998?
