First post here, so I'll try to keep it as polite as possible...
Kevin J. Anderson is a worthless hack incapable of writing decent stories. It's not an opinion, it's a documented fact of life, a universal truth if you will.
The past months or so he and Brian Herbert have been releasing various chapters of their novel Sandworms of Dune, which will conclude the series started by Frank Herbert.
Having read Hunters of Dune, their seventh book, I can say without a shadow of a doubt that Kevin J. Anderson and Brian Herbert are inhuman creature who have defiled one of the greatest works of modern Science Fiction, and sullied the name of a great writer.
I'm not into Star Wars, I know Lucas borrowed heavily from Dune, I only know that Kevin J. Anderson has had his filthy fat little fingers in the pie that is Star Wars, and I was wondering, is this sorry excuse for a human being, this horrid waste of skin, as bad as he is today?
Endless repetition, flat characters, stunted dialogue, and a constant need to outdo the original by introducing an utterly retarded deus ex machina, horribly uninspired stories, and of course shamelessly ripping pop-culture off.
Why does Kevin J. Anderson make baby Jesus cry?
KJA sucks.

I don't understand the need for people to read books from authors they know suck ass, they know will get them angry and they know is essentially violating the memories of Herbert's legacy.
So why are you reading it? He sucks, it's a universal truth you say. So why did you pick up the book and read it? I read the first of these attrocities and never looked back and bought any afterwards.
If you've been reading all of them, guess what? You have no real basis to say he sucks because you're paying him to provide you with this story you supposedly think sucks. You deserve what you get.

The very first Dune book I read was House Atreides. Then I actually read Dune itself and never looked back.
Random question: what does this thread have to do with sandworms?

A Government founded upon justice, and recognizing the equal rights of all men; claiming higher authority for existence, or sanction for its laws, that nature, reason, and the regularly ascertained will of the people; steadily refusing to put its sword and purse in the service of any religious creed or family is a standing offense to most of the Governments of the world, and to some narrow and bigoted people among ourselves.

If you want the definition of fuck up, you'll find it with that summary.
@Stravo.
So I'm damned if I do damned if I don't then? If don't buy the book or read it, I'll have people at my throat saying I can't comment because I never read it. If I do read it, I'll have people complaining that if I didn't like it, I shouldn't have read it.
I'm a completist at heart. I'll read it, even buy it, because DUNE graces its cover.
Don't worry, Sandworms is the last those two retarded cockmonkeys will get of my money. If next I'll pay for anything of Anderson's it'll be for his head on a silver platter.

One, make a title people can understand.
Two, you're the moron keep buying the fucking books and then using a piss poor rational to justify why. No different then the Star Wars morons who say Traviss, Anderson, and the variety of other worthless hacks are idiots...yet still purchase every single book.
Locking, because this is you venting and we already have a thread for that.
