In the past two days I've watched all 5 parts, and I like 'em! Great job, and I especially like how the plot continues to pull you in the farther you get into it.

"It's not like we were gonna get promoted anyways." This line had me rolling with laughter.

I really liked the beginning with the scenes of the crew trying to save the ship (and each other) set to "The Dark Side Beckons" from ROTJ. Good stuff.

I've only just seen it and it's good. There's still some choppiness in the space scenes but the plot is moving along nicely, the scene with the mallet was great (though the textures on the turbolaser seemed a bit...off somehow) and the Jorg dialogue was nicely done.

Mr Skayhan, take a bow!

The framerate problems with FRAPS aren't going to go away unless I buy a second hard drive, and capture to that while Bridge Commander runs on the main one. I haven't experimented, but I'm not sure I'd be able to successfully capture to a 1 MB flash drive, or if that would even help.

Oh, and I've been informed by the Site Administrator of Bridge Commander Central that the "Bridge Commander community" doesn't like my pro-Star Wars Last Bastion series.

Awwwww....

Smart, Captain Anderson! Making a "full stop" directly in the path of an ISD. I really feel that something funny will happen...

I really appreciate that the series also shows how it's supposed to be done. The ISD captain acts the way the captain of a real warship would - with tact and diplomacy, keeping his options open and willing to admit errors, but still keeping the upper hand. No "LOLZ ISD keptain blows every1 up 4 no reazon!!" nonsense.

BC modding has a few very good modellers and scripters, along with dozens of hanger-ons and script kiddies who churn out "god Sovereigns" and "Terran Empire" ships that are nothing more than existing mods with little yellow speed stripes painted over. Not that you would anyway, but don't let them get to you.

Mr. Anderson, it seems, is very found of placing the lives and property of other people into highly risky situations.

He still sounds like darn Jack Sparrow in middle age.
Turns out that a five way cross over between It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, the Ali G Show, Fargo, Idiocracy and Veep is a lot less funny when you're actually living in it.

I doubt I'll even post there again. If that's how the SITE ADMIN acts...

Too bad. As Bounty said, there's a couple great modders there, that helped Last Bastion become possible. Too many kiddies infesting BCC now.

LB5 on BC Files is up, and hasn't been swamped yet by the little twat boys. Dante's fluffer Nighthawk of course had to put his two cents in again, which matches none of the other unbiased comments. But this one below was hilarious. Is this that fuckin' idiot DMJ from st.com?

It upsets me to see Trek vessels humiliated by an ISD in such a manner. And the humor doesn't lubricate the plot enough for my Trekkie ego. If anything, IMHO, it makes it worse.

It's funny... yes. But I don't like it. As a matter of fact, I may even speak negatively and abusively of it in other places. Not to worry Mr. Poe...
You'll still recieve plenty of support from the SW fans. The ST tech-hating SW fans in particular.

Two bad comments, the rest supportive and even a few people sticking up for your film...nice.

I suggest you report MJAY to the mods, they're allergic to flaming of any kind so that little comment won't last long once they find out about it.

Shore leave?

Maybe we'll see some "ground combat?"

Stormtrooper 1: "Looks like the hotel staff's here."

Stormtrooper: "Uh, what is that?"

Anderson: "It's a phaser you idiot. Now step aside!"

Stormtrooper: "Uh, kitchen staff enter through the side door."

Anderson: "THAT'S IT!" *FIRES PHASER*

Stormtrooper looks at his chest, not a scorch mark or burn or even a scratch. "Look pal, I'm going to forget that happened. Now go to that door over there before the officers get here, or I'll have to hurt you."

Stormtrooper 1: "It's the repressed rage. You have got to feel sorry for service staff. Most tourists treat them like shit. They spend their days peeling potatoes making ten credits an hour--"

Stormtrooper: "I don't know. I'm opening my own cantina when my tour's done. Getting shot by a gal's shaver sure beats getting shot by Rebels, that's for sure."

Anderson : "LISTEN TO ME! LISTEN TO ME!" *stamps feet*

Stormtrooper 1: "Oh boy."

I have to say that only (and even this is really minor) problem I have with part 5 is the rather low number of casualties the Impassive's shot caused on board the Guardian (most unofficial numbers put the crew count of a Sovereign at about 700 people (give or take) and it official that the GCS has crew 1000 (including families and other extras ofc) yet a shot that blasted a sizeble section of the saucer section away caused only 29 casualties), but other that it as had the previous parts been as well fantastic.
I may be an idiot, but I'm a tolerated idiot

There's a skeleton crew, because most of Anderson's personnel requested transfers.

I hate to say it, but on the shot of the whole TL with the guy working on it, it looks like the TL is in 'textureless' mode :?

No, no, no, if we see anything like that, Anderson will be answering phones, trying to answer stupid questions from people who are almost as dumb as he is.

Looking at the rest of MJAY's post on BC, MJAY can't be DMJ. MJAY has friends.
