An abbreviated version of this article appeared in the most recent issue of Scientific American. It's a discussion on the friction between faith and science, between Lawrence Krauss and Richard Dawkins. It's a good read, but too long to quote here, so click the linky.
What's particularly hilarious about this debate is that Scientific American didn't even try to appear "fair and balanced"; they did their usual elitist thing and got eminent authorities and ignored the kooks. And the upshot of all this is that we have a discussion on science and faith between two atheists who differ mainly in how much provocation they need to attack faith.

That was a fascinating discussion.
It's funny that CNN had a discussion on atheism but did the opposite by inviting three kooks on the panel with the host.sketerpot wrote:What's particularly hilarious about this debate is that Scientific American didn't even try to appear "fair and balanced"; they did their usual elitist thing and got eminent authorities and ignored the kooks.
