I have an idea for makeing a starwars fighter (pre clone wars) based a bit off the N-1. But, I have absolutely no knowledge let alone skill on how to actually make the image.
My idea is to take a British Spitfire and useing it as the basis for a fighter.
Instead of prop driven use that space for a decent sized sublight engine, get rid of the tail section, maybe similar to the N-1 as it comes back into a point.
The wings reduces yet big enough to hold 3 laser cannons embedded in each wing.
I have an idea in my head on how this would look, but no idea how to actually put it into an image.
Need some help building a starfighter

Something like this?
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.
Hit it.

You might have an easier time making the Saber into a starfighter. after reshaping the nose so the spitfire has a intake instead of a prop and and outtake to propel it and the tail gone to make room it will look nothing like a spitfire other then the distinctive wings.
