Seriously though, sounds like an awesome day, you lucky bastard

Although I would like to ask a question that I've been musing
(Regardless of this), just what do you say to all these celebrities? Just "Could you sign/autograph this?" or "Wow, you're XX Aren't you" or "I'm sorry, but you have an amazing resemblance to XX" (When unsure) or something a bit more original?

"Hey Adam, how's it going? Chris Hardin, Nintendo Players. I'm a big fan of the show, it's great."
"Oh, thanks, appreciate it!"
"So, what do you think of the new E3 format this year?"
etc.
Olivia Munn was similar. Jessica Chobot was a bit different. She came over to chat with Olivia Munn (they clearly knew each other) right after we took our picture together. I was standing there staring at her, as I know Jessica Chobot very well from her blog and IGN podcasts (sorry Ace Pace) and she had come out of nowhere. As soon as Olivia walked away and Jessica started to turn to leave I walked up and introduced myself. Something like:
"Hi, you're Jessica Chobot, right? I read your blog on IGN. I'm kind of a noob here this year."
We got into a very good conversation about being new to the industry and the changes this year.
Really, at an exclusive show like this, they're going to regard you as fellow press rather than raving fanboy. But even at other events, if you approach them like a chum, "Hey man, I watch your show all the time, love it" rather than "OMG you're ADAM SESSLER AUTOGRAPH ME MAN!" you're more likely to have a good conversation with them.
I only made one exception, and that was Miyamoto, first time I saw him. I was struck speechless and dumbfounded the instant I saw him and I think I only got two sentences out. "Can you sign?" and "Thank you, your work is my childhood..." The guy I was with never said a word, he was so nervous.
