I take it you haven't bothered reading any of the circumcision threads posted on the board at all? But thanks for showing that you're a complete retard nonetheless.

I'd take any religion that would guarantee me continuing existence after I die. Hell, what else is worth it? It's the only thing that religion really has going for it. Without that promise, it's completely fucking worthless.
You have to realize that most Christian "moral values" behaviour is not really about "protecting" anyone; it's about their desire to send a continual stream of messages of condemnation towards people whose existence offends them. - Darth Wong alias Mike Wong

I'd take nothing. Converting into any sort of religion sounds just wrong to me. :? Mild deism perhaps. At most.

Probably some flavor of Wicca. I rather like the Threefold Rule and the Wiccan rede as general guide posts in life and even though I'm pretty sure that there's nothing to any of it (I've never seen any evidence for it) I've always been fascinated by mysticism and magic and it might be all the fantasy novels I've read but I just think the world would be a better place with a little magic in it.

Jedi (post Skywalker Reformation). All the magic powers, no soul-eating demons, and no persnickety deities. And you get to afterlive as a blue glowie, which isn't that bad, considering. And the Force philosophy of Life, the Universe and Everything conforms nicely to my predilection for animism and pantheism. Was there ever a contest?

No religion appeals to me. I assume responsibility for my future, my accomplishments and failures, I'm not going to pin the blame on a sky pixie.

If I had to switch religion from Catholicism and remain religious, I would try to go to some vague pantheism with humanistic ethics.
A Government founded upon justice, and recognizing the equal rights of all men; claiming higher authority for existence, or sanction for its laws, that nature, reason, and the regularly ascertained will of the people; steadily refusing to put its sword and purse in the service of any religious creed or family is a standing offense to most of the Governments of the world, and to some narrow and bigoted people among ourselves.

In response to the Openning Post of this thread... I personally find being a Pastafarian a very agreable Religion.

I'm not sure about the soul-eating demons part. I mean, you've got the Sith to deal with. :P
