Hmm... I guess I could hazard a tray at an IS-3 heavy tank. I've got a lot going on, so we'll see.

I gave it slightly more sloped armour in places, and Leopard 2 style appliqué armour on the turret front. It has an remote controlled MG42 and more modern looking periscopes and sights. It also an integrated turret bustle.

Sorry the colouring and background are a bit lame, I was in a rush to finish it.
Looks cool. I like this a lot.

You know, I've always found the Tiger II to have an astonishingly modern look, aside from all of those overlapping road wheels, especially compared with the Tiger I which features far less sloped armor. That and the Panther II in particular could look good with some modernization.

Now I'm in the mood to play around with some kits and build a hypothetical Panther II or Tiger II in, say, Latin American or African service in the 1980s with a new gun, powerplant and suspension system.

For some reason I always pictured a "modernized" WWII aircraft as either having an engine on each wing ala Me262 or with an engine exhaust port added in the tail like an old MiG.
