I did not start this thread to debate faith vs. science. Nor do I wish to do so at this time, or ever. If I decide to debate the science of YEC vs. OE, I will create a thread in the appropriate forum.

Yes, I take the scriptures in Genesis literally. It is a leap of blind faith, but even a blind man has other senses.

Besides, I believe that all humans have the right to their opinion, right or wrong.

Actually, from my observations and knowledge of science, which you erroneously describe as a "worldview" in an obvious attempt to make it seem as subjective as your beliefs.

Of course they have the right to opinions. Others also have the right to point out that certain opinions are irrational. You should not be so quick to paint criticism as persecution. However, I'd be happy to let this matter drop if you want.
