My analysis of the Delta Flyer weaponry indicates that the Delta Flyer is one of the best fighter type craft shown in Star Trek. The craft has 100% coverage at all possible points of attack with its 8 phaser arrays. Not only that but it can bring 4 of those arrays to bear at every single forward angle. This makes the fighter excelent for dealing with other craft of similar size. However when it comes to fighting capital ships, the Delta Flyer is eclipsed by the Venture Scout which can fire full sized photon torpedoes.
