Personally, I liked the atmospheres of both TS and RA2. I found the gritty, yet also campy feel of TS and the cheesy, B-movie-ish feel of RA2 equally.
I'll admit that the Allied ending of RA2 is overdone with the overly dramtic capture of Romanov. The little clip of the Allied army rampaging through Moscow and the Prism Tanks destroying the Soviet nuke silo totally makes up for it, IMHO.

"I want to mow down a bunch of motherfuckers with absurdly large weapons and relative impunity - preferably in and around a skyscraper. Then I want to fight a grim battle against the unlikely duo of the Terminator and Robocop. The last level should involve (but not be limited to) multiple robo-Hitlers and a gorillasaurus rex."--Uraniun235 on his ideal FPS game

All TS needs is a convenient relocation to an area in which Vancouver BC can serve as a suitable filming location, and it too could easily become a viable setting for a super-cheap Sci-Fi Channel production.
