Resolves an issue where creating AVI files on Vista may get corrupted.
I know it's a long shot but I seriously hope that this also fixes the Windows DVD Maker issues as well.
It has the potential to be an awesome tool, if only if only video didn't get corrupted on every dvd it created...

Sounds like spin, I'd bet it's a fix for image quality issues present in vista. I have noticeable corruption in some games, hard to tell which bugs are due to poor drivers or poor os design.InnocentBystander wrote:What do we have here?Improved visual appearance of games with high intensity graphics.

I've only noticed minor bugs, but I thought that was due to other issues like using too many system resources for the video to be of top quality. Though I agree Windows DVD Maker is an awesome tool, especially if they can fix the few glitches that are there.Zac Naloen wrote:Resolves an issue where creating AVI files on Vista may get corrupted.

For every DVD I create the menu is fine, but flipped upside down and inverted but when going to play it's always nothing but artefacts but sound is fine.
Not sure how it can be resources on my machine, I'm well above minimum spec.

In some DVD authoring utilities I've seen in the past when you're burning a video DVD using anything else at the same time will potentially create a conflict and cause skips or artifacts to creep up. I thought that might have been a similar issue here.Zac Naloen wrote:For every DVD I create the menu is fine, but flipped upside down and inverted but when going to play it's always nothing but artefacts but sound is fine.

It's unusual, and only happens when creating from AVI's. I assumed it to be a weird codec compatibility issue with x64.General Zod wrote:In some DVD authoring utilities I've seen in the past when you're burning a video DVD using anything else at the same time will potentially create a conflict and cause skips or artifacts to creep up.
