The Last Bastion 6: Teaser Trailer

Post by Lord Poe »

Ok all, here it be:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=no-y2ORihEk

Gotta apologize; I wasn't inspired enough to make a super-snarky, involved trailer this time. But I think this one will be sufficient to piss off a few VS Trektards!

Comments welcome.

I actually liked it very much! Great work, Mr. Poe! :o

That said, it's kinda sad that TLB is coming to it's end...
Do you already have ideas for new projects, or are you going to take a break, Mr. Poe?

P.S. Man, you gotta tell me who played this SW theme! Does it have a name?

I approve. I heartily approve. :)
A Government founded upon justice, and recognizing the equal rights of all men; claiming higher authority for existence, or sanction for its laws, that nature, reason, and the regularly ascertained will of the people; steadily refusing to put its sword and purse in the service of any religious creed or family is a standing offense to most of the Governments of the world, and to some narrow and bigoted people among ourselves.

I agree with Magnus-that was a VERY interesting take on the SW theme/Imperial March. And as always very nice, Mr Poe. I'm as always looking forward to the real thing.
'Next time I let Superman take charge, just hit me. Real hard.'
'You're a princess from a society of immortal warriors. I'm a rich kid with issues. Lots of issues.'
'No. No dating for the Batman. It might cut into your brooding time.'
'Tactically we have multiple objectives. So we need to split into teams.'-'Dibs on the Amazon!'
'Hey, we both have a Martian's phone number on our speed dial. I think I deserve the benefit of the doubt.'
'You know, for a guy with like 50 different kinds of vision, you sure are blind.'

LMAO...that was awesome for a teaser. Yeah, the intro was snarky, but hey it's always fun to show real evidence and see them scream.

That was nice Poe!

How true is the teaser to the real thing here?

I was thinking of remaking the "Zombie Flick" movies. They look a bit dated, and I didn't have the "freecam" option back then.

There's all kinds of people playing the Imperial March on Youtube, some use alto flutes, or bass guitars, pianos, and DJ scratchings!

All the footage is from part 6, so all those scenes happen. The entire movie is ready to go, but I'm waiting one one effects shot to be completed.

I thought the trailer was well done. The first part made me laugh. The footage you presented is enticing enough to make me wonder what's going to happen in LB 6. Great work.

I'm going to be a huge pain in the ass here and say the first bit, with the numbers...didn't really work. Maybe it's just a personal thing but damnit man, you've got a visual medium! Who reads boring numbers when they can see ships fighting in space with big beams of death?

:o

The rest of it was up to your usual standards, I'm happy to see. I really hope captain..Jorg, is it? That Jorg makes it through. I love his pose in the scene with the...stripper or something, slumped against the doorframe.

And was that Risa at the end?

It was a jab at Trekkies, in order to be credible use of footage from "The Empire Strikes Back" and the TNG episode "Survivors" was required to create an aura of legitimacy. The text was required because interaction between Trek and Wars ships was impossible and would only appear to be an act of bias.

Oh, I loved those things! I'm not sure what is this option you talk about, but I'll love to see them getting updated!

Yeah, there's all kinds of strange people playing the SW theme on all sorts of instruments, the thing is that I liked this one even more than I like Mettalica's theme! :o

Oh, it's okay. It takes skill to do that, brother. You have to be a real connossieur to recognize asses well.

Though seriously, I just connected the dots. She mentioned she was going to do "A little number" for Jorg in one of the earlier episodes, so who else could that be?

Wai! Last Bastion trailer!

Looks like a certain captain is gonna get some hot booty. And it isn't Captain Anderson, who appears to be in for some massive fail! Stupid is going to hurt. A lot.

I hadn't actually gotten around to watching parts 1-5 until now, but I very much enjoyed them. I had to go to the bathroom in the middle :P

Looking forward to episode 6. I feel bad for the Guardian's crew.

good trailer - but when can we expect the full episode ?

"In view of the circumstances, Britannia waives the rules."

"All you have to do is to look at Northern Ireland, [...] to see how seriously the religious folks take "thou shall not kill. The more devout they are, the more they see murder as being negotiable." George Carlin

"The closet got full and some homosexuals may have escaped onto the internet?"- Stormbringer
