30 years of damn-near mainlining every type of chocolate snack on the planet and drinking sugary soft drinks and all I have is 3 fillings - what the hell do i have to do to get a sugar related illness? Must be all that unhealthy exercising I did.Admiral Valdemar wrote: Heck, 19 years of living so far and no major sugar related illness or side-effect, though I did have to go to the orthodontist to geta brace or two a few years back. Last time I was over, I bought a Kit-kat, bit into and tried to work out where they had hidden the flavour of the chocolate! Seriously the thing had a sort of non-taste compared the the UK version, very lacking in essential sugars.Admiral Valdemar wrote:Hence my point.Rob Wilson wrote:I've had them in the States, *shrug* they didn't seem all that special, if anything they were kind of yucky.Admiral Valdemar wrote: Eat a Hershey bar. The problem is, their idea of chocolate is, well, bland. And in a nation where a doughnut gets coated in enough sugar to sink a ship, that's unforgivable; and the lack of taste in their Crisps is appalling.Admiral Valdemar wrote: Sounds like a fat free, sugar free and therefore taste free candy bar in the US.
