Gears is slated to be a trilogy already. Expect maybe another title next christmas.

They're already re-releasing it on PC with more add-ons and several new chapters. So it's still getting a 1.5 type thing.

officially it is finished IIRC (sure it's sucky and/or hurried finish with alot of loose threads, but an end none the less).

but I'd like to see how the KOTOR saga ends (like what was Revan's final fate for example).

I don't recall KOTOR2 ever setting the sales charts afire).

In reality, there's actually a fairly large amount of content left on the cutting room floor (some of it's even on the disc, in the form of script and voice files), amounting to a whole other planet and pretty much all the denouement of all the character development throughout the game.

That's not right at all." I don't look at the keys when I type, sometimes I don't really look at the screen either. I usually just sound it out in my head and let my fingers move. Somehow my fingers sometimes write the sound instead of the word. I'm telling you it happens, and I know because it happens to me (though rarely). And it can't be illiteracy because I know it's wrong. That's why I proofread.

The OP might not have known it was wrong, in fact that's the most likely scenario by far. I'm just pointing-out it's not the only possibility.

Parasite Eve. Not that I think the story really necessitated a sequel but the subsequent game that did come out was so unlike the first one that they could have gotten away with calling it something else entirely.
