Let's see, we have More Snake, more Meryl, more Naomi, the world's worst super-soldier, Solid and Liquid fighting it out in Metal Gears, and a shaved monkey.

Looks like this is finally the game the PS3 has been needing since... well, ever.

Looks great. I love the Gollum monkeys and the fact that Meryl and Naomi (both looking hot) are back in it.

And the crazy fights with Vamp, the Beauty and Beast unit and the Gekkous are now looking rather minor next to a fucking death match between a Metal Gear REX and the prototype RAY Liquid stole. Hoo boy.

REX versus RAY is pretty much the single best thing they could have done. I thought MGS4 was potentially very awesome, but this just set it on fire, sent it off at three hundred miles an hour through a hospital zone, while be chased by Airwolf, while Airwolf is on fire too.

Boo-hiss. Until Snake reverts to how he looked in MGS/MGS2, I hate this game.

Snake's new elderly look is growing on me, I always liked Ocelot, so it's funny seeing Snake match his look now.

However, as ever, I expect we're missing a huge chunk of the story anyway, given how radically different the stories are when being played through compared to the trailers.
