You vs. an EDust assasin

Post by fgalkin »

Your enemies have decided to dispose of you by hiring an EDust assasin with ordes to kill you in the most unpleasant way possible. However, you learn of this plan, and decide to take some precautions. Who would you choose to protect you? You can use anything or anybody from any universe, with the exception of omnipotents and demi-omnipotents and time travel/manipulation technology of any kind.

You have excactly two months before the assassin shows up.

Have a very nice day.

For the hopelessly clueless, what exactly is an EDust assassin?

Single or mutiple?

Also what level of demi-godlike(Godlike I'm presuming is basically able to manipulate time space to the point where you could erase the thing from existence by going where it was created and destroying it)

Place myself on a Culture GSV, with full military capabilities, and have a Mind-state taken to be activated as soon as the Assassin is decomissioned, and spread throughout the known multiverse.

My knowledge is a bit fuzzy but here's what I can come up with:

It's an assassin unit, made up of tiny nanites. Essentially it's like the T-1000, able to become different things and people---yet it can also form weapons and such. Also has the standard Culture weapons complement: effectors, displacers, etc.

These nanites can come together to form something or it can spread out into a nanite cloud and drift around like a cloud of smoke.

Edust stands for Everything Dust. Just another weird Culture acronym. :)

Owen Deathstalker. The guy managed to resurrect himself, fire energy beams that fired armies, absorb particle beams, and teleport. Plus he has a genetic adrenaline boost ability that causes his reactions to be supercharged so fast the world seems to slow down around him (anyone who's played Shinobi for PS2, it's roughly the same idea of slicing through three people before the first one falls apart).

Yeah.

Okay, new plan: An oNCHLaaK warship from my universe, untouchable by an EDust. Just have it keep me safe within its hull and alter c in the general vicinity of the EDust by a few orders of magnitude with its descolades.

Use that Asgard tech that slows down time, allowing me to escape. Of course that would be a cop-out. :)

Ye Olde Turn A Gundam (I'm assuming this thing's mechanical), the Devil Gundam and enough materials for it to create a whole new Death Army (complete with the 4 Heavenly Kings), a super-secret bunker buried kilometers underneath the surface, and a handy colony for when the sucker lands on the surface above my lair.

Forgot to mention, after Turn A or whatever I used to beat the assassin beats the assassin, I take everything to the Culture homeworld and unleash Moonlight Butterfly on it. Try killing me now, jerkfaces.

Simple, A Some-one elses problem field combined with a Duneverise No-field for my person and since its Bio-tech, a Good old Fasion Theater shield from SW combined with of all things ST Force-Fields should I stay in my resident(Where I that stupied)

No rather I'd use the Above and move to my Fortrest of Evil(TM) though its acutaly a bunker buried 1/2 Mile underground Guarded by A Loyal Legion of Jawas(To whom EDust is the greatest thing since sileced bread) along with Ion Blasters and of course a full Battalion of Space Marines with Assurances that I(meaning me) am acutaly the God emperor's Brother's sistsers's cousin and thusly any harm that would come to me would come to the God-Emperor

Them sutabily enraged I'd top it off with a Full-Carbon Copy Clone/Andriod combined with a 20 Megaton Nuclear Warhead to go parade around the Universe and catch Mr EDust while I simply sit in my bunker

And yes this is overkill, I'm having fun

An EDust assassin would easily slaughter them all.

The EDust would almost certainly scan the android with its effector, and realise the deception immediately.

As was planed, They are mearly Decoys and it also forces the EDust to be careful as a overloaded powercell will womp it with a nicely sized EMP and energy burst sure as heck hurting
The EDust would almost certainly scan the android with its effector, and realise the deception immediately.
And can it move faster than C? :D
Cause the Nuke Certiantly can catch it

The point of the Jawa Army is in the fact they
A. Carry a Weapon that will harm EDust and Good
B. Alot of them, It can't kill them ALL without one getting a shot off
C. They want that EDust! Gocha catch it all and that means thier motivated
D. Giving my Space Marines time to get into position
