It was any other day for the populace of SD.net and everyone thought it would remain the same. They were wrong.

On that day, several truely advanced beings that refered to themselves on as Sapients that justify Authur C. Clark's postilations on sufficently advanced technology decided to run an experiment involving us. They had informed the boards population which had more than 50 posts and has not been banned as of the time that they would be sent to an Alternate Dimention which is notable for being very much like ours, but differing in several respects. The first being that it is 557 years younger than ours and secondly, on earth there is an island chain on the Mid Atlantic ridge populated by a direct decendant of the Roman Empire. But not to simply dick about as peasants in this empire, the population of SD.net has been given the status of Nobility, most ruling over small fiefdoms while sixteen chosen are given authority over the Cities of Atlantia as well as control over the empire itself through the Senate. The Atlantians have had their minds altered so that they would not think anything suspicious about it. Each of the Population of SD.net can bring back with them and has twenty four hours notice. To help SD.net's population survive, they are each given three things, the first being a fuent knowlage of the Atlantian Language, the second being an injection of Nanites that protects against various diseases like cancer and Diabeties as well as extending their lifespan by aproximatly 50% (along with decelerated aging) and finally, a modern solar powered top of the line laptop which are netoworked on a minature network with Stardestroyer.net on it for long range communication and general science fiction debating.

This was twenty four hours ago. And so the story begins...
