I don't know enough about the profession, and firefighters need people to drive the truck and do other shit too. It's not like every firefighter is expected to carry a 500 lbs. man, and I see some old as ass firefighters who have a paunch. There's also the fact that firefighter women could carry other civilian women.

I already brought up the point about overweight physically unfit cops Mike, but obviously there's no point because she won't listen. Even Hot Fuzz had a woman cop, so I don't know where she gets the idea women can't be capable police officers except a priori.

Who said anything about the UK's cops being armed? You don't need to be obsessed about guns to arm your police either, like Canada.

You bring up all these red herrings irrelevant to the point you're trying to make: that women and minorities should not have an easier time entering the police force.

By the way you seem to think police have no alternatives other than guns. A properly trained female police officer can still restrain any average person, even a male, with pepper spray, tasers, batons, and yes, even physical strength. Mike has asked you for proof that criminals are getting away due to females in the police force, and you still haven't given it. If you don't you had better concede because I don't think he'll be happy at being ignored for a third time.

Your respectful disagreement means nothing. You ever consider that dishonesty is disrespectful? Combat infantry carries 80 lbs of equipment and must use repeated feats of physical strength. Where's your proof that police officers need male strength to do their duty? That's right, you have none, just your own personal opinion which matters for shit since it's not backed by evidence.

My dad ran a bar and I can tell you that female police officers bust in before with batons and pepper spray and more than held their own. You ever see one do it? Drunk asshole is not beating a properly trained female officer with weapons. Riot police? Don't make me laugh.

Have you ever heard of what the military calls "combined-arms tactics?" The idea that you want only one type of cop to do every front-line duty is completely retarded. You seem to think that the entire police force should consist of only fit, athletic, burly men.
