Jesus Of Borg....

Post by Peregrin Toker »

http://www.minitru.org/llf/borg.html

I didn't know where I should put this.....

Anyway, the Luciferian Liberation Front, who wrote the site, seem to be to the Raëlians what the Satanists are to Christianity. And they don't appear wholly sane either.

And the scary thing about this is that they're serious!

First we see that it is similar to a giant mothership and that it will descend from space (Rev. 21:2) The dimensions of this ship are 1,500 miles wide by 1,500 miles long and 1,500 miles high. It's a giant cube (Rev. 21:16).
*Remembers a mention of a "Strategic cube" in starcrossed*

Also, check out their directory of extraterrestrials... the alien which allegedly is an "Orion Grey" looks suspiciously like an early sketch for the Kaminoans....

(and yes, I KNOW which it is... it's the black/white picture of a SGA.... don't link to it, I suffer from SGA-phobia)

I never thought I'd see a "religious" group more ridiculous than the Raelians, but here we are. :P Remember, kids: if the Kool-Aid tastes like bitter almonds, don't swallow!

The more extraterrestrials featured in a religious movement's beliefs, the weirder the religion is.

How does it uhm.. how does it work?

Consult the book of armaments!

Armaments Chapter Two Verses Nine to Twenty One.

And St. Attila raised his hand grenade up on high saying "O Lord bless this thy hand grenade that with it thou mayest blow thine enemies to tiny bits, in thy mercy. You notice the old stories of succubus/incubus abductions are nearly identical to modern alien abductions? whatever the hell reason people report such things is still around... Regarding that comment, just because you can't use the scientific method to "prove" something exists, does not mean it's all just superstition.
Er, no I don't believe in demons/angels in the biblical sense, but you got to admit, strange shit DOES happen once in awhile. (By the way, no i'm NOT religous or an atheist. I'm agnostic.) However, I have my own reasons to believe in 'astral' entities... *Ghostly hand comes out of wall, snatches my soul* :P

Ahhh, but stories of succubi, and alien abduction can be easily explained through hypnagogic hallucinations and/or exceptionally vivid dreams or nightmares . . . phenomena we know to exist and can readily verify.

Ok, that's the reason I was talking about, then. Still, the similiarites are beyond coincidence in my opinion. Maybe it's the idea of 'higher' beings taking people and probe-raping them or whatever that's persisting in these dreams. After all, the only real difference is our perception of 'higher' beings. c.1600 A.D.: Demons c.2000 A.D.: Super-aliens. Anyway, what would either demons or aliens want with country hicks? I'm sure the demons got their whore-women slaves in Hell to use and the aliens have all the holo-porno in the galaxy...

Read this faq.
It's not my place in life to make people happy. Don't talk to me unless you're prepared to watch me slaughter cows you hold sacred. Don't talk to me unless you're prepared to have your basic assumptions challenged. If you want bunnies in light, talk to someone else.

Oh yeah...since this topic was originally about the LLF and raelians, might as well talk about them. :P I saw Rael on TV today...said that after we can clone humans in a matter of hours, we can download/upload our memories into these clones, and live forever. Yay. I'm too thrilled to use good sarcasm... Hey, I got an idea. How about someone convinces all the Raelians to store samples of their DNA and then have them drink the cyanide Kool-Aid or something...At least we'll be rid of them for a few millenia (or better yet: forever!)

I was looking in one of their anti-tracts(http://www.minitru.org/llf/tgmet.html), and it reminded me of Palladium's RIFTS Conversion Book II, which has Palladium's stats for several Mythological Gods. Near the end, they have the Persian Gods, and one of the first things to strike me was that their illustration of Mithras was so close to the traditional image of Jesus I kept wondering if it was intentional.

I guess it was.
