Anyone know Danish?

What are they saying about "The Last Bastion"?

I can't tell exactly what they're saying, as I know some German, not Danish, but it's similar enough that I can tell that it seems pretty positive, especially with the help of what emoticons they're using.

this is a very rough translation via some Babelfish-like site.. Any of these quotes I translate are probably not exact translations.

Thanks Darth Fanboy. I think I went to the same website to try to translate it! It does look pretty positive.

Well, they are overall very positive. Norwegian would be easier, but... The OP says that the movie gives a good idea of what would happen if Star Trek and Star Wars were to meet, but that you should ignore the toilet humor in the third part. One guy said that "It's a really good movie", another that it's funny and a third saying that it's "'hyper good'".

Adding to that, the opening poster said that "Captain Anderson is a huge idiot, isn't he?", another person said "You should never follow the manual for a Star Destroyer", the OP agreed and said "Poor red shirts, they always suffer. But it is their job, so. Maximum power!"

So yeah, they seem to like it...

A few select and part quotes. Nothing you didn't know already, but what artist doesn't like good criticism about his work?

"This guy has a fairly good idea what would happen if they met (just ignore all the toilet jokes in part three)."

"This also used to be on youtube but something got hairy with the administrators and it's down at the moment."

"Real good movie... it's sick."

(Sick in this contest meaning "sickly good" which is similar to "good shit"."

"Here we have part four."

"That's also sick."

"Never follow the manual for a Star Destroyer." (Presumably talking about the "repairs").

"Poor redshirts."

"A simple trailer for Last Bastion." (presumably part five).

"den lyder fed" = It sounds fat (fat meaning good in a reverse negative form, just like "sick").

"hyper god er den ik?" = "Isn't it really great?" Talking about part 6.

"Not as expected"
Star Trek vs. Star Wars, Extralife style.

Thanks, Nightmare. I get a lot of comments about the toilet humor in part 3. Is it really over the top?

I'll just comment that its not NEARLY as 'over the top' as the Austin Powers movies.

Now there's damning with faint praise. I thought it was way over the top, but I'm not a big fan of toilet humor.

Well, it revels for a fairly long time both before and after the point is made. I figure the part would have played out smoother if the scene was shorter. Now it comes out as the main scene, intentionally or not.
