Lego Fire Support Mission

Post by TrailerParkJawa »

Okay, I was tired of eating left overs so I made this from some Lego's I had in my closet. It's not very professional, but I thought I would share it here.

I downloaded a free image editor from www.webattack.com.
Its called ImageEnhance. There is a filter to make your picture
look like a early 20th century camera.

When I was a kid, my cousin told me it made more sense to turn around their faces cause you cant see a face through the visor on the helmet. Its just a habit now. I always turn around the faces, besides Lego Marines in combat should not be smiling. :-)

Here is another one I made. I dont like it as much as the artillery. Mabye I should have the truck towing the artillery??

Cool, I myself have made a Lego E-Web blaster, and am working on a Black Mage legoman.

Way to use the old school lego men! I know what I'll be doing this summer (besides putting together all my old models, now that I have all my pieces sorted by color)

Have you ever looked on eBay for legos. I was surprised to find some of the old kits I had intact with instructions. Did not buy them though.

Had a huge bin of Lego parts, pieces, odds and bits (all the recent models I kept nice a tidy :D ) that me and my brother would use to stage epic battles on a grand scale, involving Pirates, Robin's Merry Men, Blue and Red Soldier Guys, Medivel, and even a few Space Lego men. Suffice to say, after said battles the family room floor would be littered with Lego heads, arms, decapitated bodies, ect. The Evil Dark Lord's Castle Atop the Sofa Mountain Range would be lying in ruin, while the Good Guys would be gathering their wounded and dead on their Lego ships for the journey back across the Green Carpet Sea, and of course the Evil Dark Lord and the Leader of the Good Guys would have had a duel worthy of any theactrical presentation.

Damn I miss those days. :D
'Ai! ai!' wailed Legolas. 'A Balrog! A Balrog is come!'
Gimli stared with wide eyes. 'Durin's Bane!' he cried, and letting his axe fall he covered his face.
'A Balrog,' muttered Gandalf. 'Now I understand.' He faltered and leaned heavily on his staff. 'What an evil fortune! And I am already weary.'

I used to signify wounded Lego men by pulling out one of their hands. Dead Lego men were decapitated or pulled in half. Ahh...memories.

We used to simulate plane crashes. Which means ragtag Lego planes flung against the wall at high velocity in the living room :)
