Most...'religiously fair' country
Ok...this sounds damn weird, but which country is most fair in a sense like...the majority will NOT try and force their view on the minority?
If you are muslim, atheist, christians, or buddhist, no one will say too much on how you must convert or anything...
And government policy is less influenced by religion...but by a more rational and fair thinking...

The Nordic countries, probably. Even though the church is fairly prominent here, it has been decoupled from the state and freedom of religion is mandated in the constitution and so long as you don't break the laws, you are allowed to worship (or not worship) as you please. I imagine it's much the same in Sweden, Norway and Denmark as well as probably in Holland too.

Why is it so goddamned hard to get little assholes like you to admit it when you fuck up? Is it pride? What gives you the right to have any pride?

GOP message? Why don't they just come out of the closet: FASCISTS R' US –Patrick Degan

It's not so much anti-Muslim as it is anti-fundamentalist fucktard, with endless (and fruitless) debate in parliament over how you should formulate 'fundamentalist fucktard' without hurting the precious feelings of all other Muslims not included in that category. Which I guess makes sense if you want to avoid alienating them and/or driving them into the arms of the aforementioned fundamentalists, but it gets rather tiresome nonetheless.Kanastrous wrote:Maybe Holland.
Although there appears to be a vicious anti-Muslim backlash growing among their politicos there.
Admittedly there is one prominent right-winger cashing in on the 'zomg teh muslims' scare--and sometimes he even has a point somewhere, but his 'solutions' to those problems seem to have been copied directly from the Fascism 101 textbook. I his popularity more as a publicity thing than a serious problem though--his movement can hardly be called truly significant and his constituency consists mostly of protest swingvotes.
Anyway though, my gut feeling is the Scandinavians have us beat on this one. I haven't heard of any religiously inspired problems up there in, like, ever (well apart from the whole cartoon business, but that don't count.)

Are we talking about Big-Haired Politician Guy?
I'm sorry, that probably describes more than one politician in Holland (and plenty elsewhere) but what I remember most about the close-immigration-and-deport-the-Muslims pol I saw interviewed, was his outrageously amazing shock of white hair...

Guess how that went over with the Muslim moderates...
