Steam Community friend invites/groups thread

Those on Steam: are you familiar with Steam Community?

From the Steam Community web site:
* Easily see your friends online
* Schedule group events
* Create a SteamID user profile
* Create and join groups

* Access Steam from within any game
* Track gameplay stats
* New chat rooms and game lobbies
* Voice chat in-game or out
The purpose of this thread is for exchanging Steam home page URLs so we can have a gander at each other's profiles, maybe even get on each other's friend lists, or even join or start a group.

Here's mine, you may have to login with your SteamID first. You don't have to register if you already have a Steam account.

A search warrant has been filed and that search is currently taking place. Mr. Jackson has not been charged with any crime. Is anyone else having a problem where after a few minutes of play, they get booted off a server with the message "your steam connection has been lost"? I can't tell if it's specific to HL1 mods, because that's all I have. I've not been playing for a month or two because it's impossible.

You may need to fiddle with your router. I had a connection problem a few months ago and opening up a certain port fixed it. Steampowered.com has a support section which could give you all the details.
