I noticed that the Atlas is supposed to contain charts of galactic expansion and conflict. Does this mean that there will finally be a complete map of the Empire's territory during various eras, as well as one for the CIS and Republic?

It'll still be some compressed and probably EU-ified galaxy that doesn't bare resemblance to the canonical supragalactic civilization or the galactic morphology.
