I think I will be leaving the baffles in after redoing the whole model, regardless of what version it turns out to be, because to me they are a type of thrust vectoring vane, not merely physically one, but some type of force field projecting plate that will deflect the thrust to allow for greater sublight maneuverability.

On a technical note, the ISD2 does have a similar system, but without the vanes.

good point. I have been away from working on this for a while but the original gun turrets are going to be the first thing to go when I work on this model some more, they are just out of scale and dont fit properly. Plus the rear pair should be ion cannons.

So you will alter the model to an ISD1?
That might require much more work on your part, there are subtle differences, for example, the back of the tower is quite different on the ISD1 as is the antenna inbetween the spheres.

Vympel beat the shit out of him in a 1on1 debate in SLM concerning matus' criticism of Wong's Israel page. He fucked off afterwards (which is a pity since the model is truly great).

Pity about the model though.

It wasn't so much a debate about Mike's Israel page as it was about my own stance on the issue- which he attempted to define for me from the get go. I didn't play ball with that crap.
