Okay, in Australia the season finale of Buffy is just being aired and I got a thinkin', (always a dangerous undertaking I know), but who would win in a fight between Uber Willow and any Sith Lord?

It began as "Darth Rosenburg vs. Darth Sideous" it was concluded that sideous would kick Willows veiny ass.

However, against a more modestly powered Sith Lord, well, she might put up a good fight, maybe even win if she can do something to stop a light saber.

Well, it's your thread, and i found it amazing that noone had posted on it, so I thought you'd be happy to see it reappear after ..... 6 months.

Where was this? By-the-by I agree with the lightsaber point, but in this thread I was sort of hoping it would be left out of the equation...

Yup, I started that thread, if I remember correctly.

Anyway, Darth Rosenberg had a finite amount of power to draw from, as she had to keep recharging (from Rek and then Giles). Even if we assume that she can maintain that kind of power level consistently, a Sith Lord like Darth Sidious would fry her (Palpatine was purported to have started monstrous fires from light-years away, as well as summon Force storms), and a Sith Lord like Naga Sado, who induced a binary star system to go supernova, would crush her just by throwing a nasty look her way. The ancient Sith were just absurdly powerful.

Against a Sith Lord like Darth Maul, it's a bit tougher. While Darth Maul is an uber-badass, he never really demonstrated any ranged attack powers aside from telekinesis, while Darth Rosenberg pull off some Force lightning-like stuff, even send out magically-guided bombs (though the explosive yield was unimpressive next to a modern hand grenade).

Really? Wow. i'ved got a new respect for the military then, if a concussion grenade can create a larger crater 5ft across and approx. 5 feet deep in normal soil, with a blast radius of over 14ft.

Of course, it would have to be a grenade alittle larger than a softball for a proper comparison...

Darth Rosenburg was the name applied to Willow Rosenburg when she went all veiny by idiotic villain Andrew

She used "Force Lightning"-Like abilities in the Season 7 Episodes:

"Villains", "Two to Go" and "Grave"

The Grenade-like weapon was seen in "Grave"

The ground was clearly soft, as it was sitting on top of a cavern. The dirt layer was no more than a foot or two thick. The blast radius was nowhere near 14 feet, more like 5 to 7. Furthermore, the ball of flame thing went flying into the ground, as well, more akin to a RPG.

P.S. This was during season 6, not 7.
