All this talk of the genetics of Russians explaining thier actions is a complete 360 from what people have used as excuses in the past. In the past they would say that on a individual level, the citizens are influenced by bad leaders, government types and the like. For example let's say Japan with their xenophobia. The foks who spin this stuff might have said it was that they had always lived in isolation and thier psychology is the reason. Now it seems 'genetics' has become the excuse and cause for everything.
