Honestly, I generally can't make out what ethnicity most anime tries to convey, let alone this low-polygon example. I'm waiting for an official website or game manual or guide or something to tell us what ethnicity she's supposed to be.Covenant wrote: Really? C'mon, look at that face! Asiany anime features--not the tiny 'western' eyes or blonde hair... Here's a shot from the trailer. Tell me if this isn't an anime cue that she's at least 'Half Japanese' or something like they often do.
Oh please let this get released in the states..

Quite frankly, saying she's Japanese (or Asian) because she looks like an anime character is fucking retarded. All it says about the character is that she was designed by a person with a fondness for a particular art style.Uraniun235 wrote: Honestly, I generally can't make out what ethnicity most anime tries to convey, let alone this low-polygon example. In most cases, it's not. Either that or it's indulging in that bizarre Anglo-European fixation Japan seems to have. Names are the only reliable way to tell. Barring that, go by skin color. Faces are usually too uniform to judge by, except in the case of older or "comically ugly" characters. Eye and hair color are useless indicators for obvious reasons. Generally speaking, if they're not some shade of tan, they can be from literally anywhere in the world. So unless it's blatantly obvious, trying to judge the unestablished ethnicity of any anime character is pretty much a fool's errand.Uraniun235 wrote:Honestly, I generally can't make out what ethnicity most anime tries to convey, let alone this low-polygon example.
It's just those giant eyes... giant eyes! Ah well, I think she's British:
That little little girl is probably more like 12, so I'm guessing that Cordelia is the sniper, but I'm not able to tell for sure. She's on the box art, which means she must be important.Edward is supported by an 18-year old girl named Cordelia Break who's a member of the Royal Army and his commander James Gallant. Ten additional characters may be recruited into Edward's crew along with members of the local resistance and soldiers from the US Army 101 Airborne Division.
