New Star Wars vs Star Trek Channel

Post by Lord Poe »

Yup, an all Star Wars vs Star Trek channel on Youtube:

http://www.youtube.com/Pleonasm222

Nothing new there (yet...stay tuned  ) but the old favorites. I may move the "Trekmiss" vids there, too.

Ah, the good old days! That's why I included Sisko's instruction, "Target the lead ships!"

Fun stuff. Believe it or not, I hadn't watched your Last Bastion series until now, and I chuckled, particularly at the line "What a wall of ignorance - he should drop his shields and use that instead!"

Good work, Lord Poe.

Ah, Trekmiss. Fine stuff.

Although to be fair (I'm a TOS fanboy, even for the worst film) I still don't think Captain Klaa deserves to be there. When he misses the probe, I doubt he'd be using the ship's targeting, so much as seeing how he does with a scope and a gun, and when he fires on the Enterprise, it dodges by going into warp, rather than him simply missing.

Klaa is definitely using some kind of targeting; we see it when he looks into the scope.

Even if he weren't using a targeting system, how hard can it be to hit a target from that range that isn't even attempting any evasive maneuvers?

According to the crew, for Klingons, it seem exceedingly difficult!

BTW:

From the diary of Robert Scott "Guardian 2000" "Darkstar" Anderson:
2000: That insufferable idiot Poe has updated his hilariously inept Trekmiss video. Though it has no substance his PR pandering to the masses may cause more people to join the conspiracy! Have to think of a way to counter this.

0330: Hah! After a mere 10 minutes of work i have triumphed. My Warsmiss video crushes the the insane Trekmiss video at every point as well as backing up all my arguments AND proving Wong's site to be a pile of fallacies. However, while i was working some warsie must have slipped into my house and altered my clock as it now says it is half past three in the morning, as if crushing Poe could take that long! Gah! They must have slipped a sleeping pill into my drink as well as i am feeling tired, perhaps these warsies are more resourceful than i thought. No matter i will crush their arguments tommorow!
ROTFLMAO!! I forgot how much fun this used to be. So glad Dalton kept this stuff! Almost makes me want to put my Darkstar page back up.

Weird. Everytime I use the tags in preview, I always end up with the URL.

Those don't count! You members of the vast Warsie conspiracy cannot hope to understand that in those scenes, the sheer ammount of EW and ECM would cripple any Star Wars ship beyond total repair!....[/rabid Trektard]

No, there is no equal sign. The link goes between the two tags.

That's a parody, dude. We used to do it all the time on ASVS. I think that was written a few years ago!
