I hate to be critical about something so insignificant, but isn't it about time for the Christmas-themed avatars to disappear in favor of, say, Valentine's Day-themed avatars?

I'll agree about replacing the holiday avatars (I bet the people who still have them haven't yet taken down their Yule trees

). But nay on Valentine's Day! For I do not want to come back to a world of pink.

March is different. Throughout March, my avatar will be Bob with a green beard

Either that or a picture of my nephew/niece

(March 2nd! I'm friggin' excited).

Give it a break. It's only January 14. (It's New Year's on the Julian calendar, hehe.)

Anyway, this idea of celebrating Christmas starting on Thanksgiving (and stopping on Christmas) is a modern commercial invention. Nobody in their right mind would do that a few centuries ago...

At a message board I use to run, I changed it to an all pink color scheme just for Valentine's day. It was quite hilarious if you ask me, but the sexually insecure kiddies on the board thought it was gay. The 2 girls who were on the board then thought it was pretty cute and funny.

I dunno how I would make my avater into a valentines avater. I took down the Christmisfied avater about a week ago when I was doing tests with my avater so I decided just to change it back. I might change my sig pic completely though. Same with my avater, maybe.

Some people around here keep their Christmas lights on their homes all year long.
If were lucky they don't turn them on except for the holidays.

An Eagles helmet, very poorly drawn by me in Photoshop. It's staying up so long as the Birds are still alive in the playoffs. If they win the Super Bowl, I might not take it down unti July.

I've now gone to a non-elfy non-christmassy avatar. I think I'm going to do something fun for Valentine's though, maybe put her in a pink bunnysuit or something. I'll see how good my Photoshop skills are.

I think I'm pretty much well covered, as mine are more seasonally based rather than holiday based.

If I decide to put up a valentines avater at all I'd probably would just replace my avater instead of spend and hour trying to valentinize it.

If the Birds win the Bowl, the Black Mage is getting a helmet, and maybe a jersey (depends on how good I can manipulate Paint).
