Popular GOP Blog bans Ron Paul Supporters.

Redstate.com bans new Ron Paul supporters
Redstate founder Erick Erickson said he woke up this morning bombed with hundreds of e-mails, “the overwhelming majority very angry.” His own readers, though, loved the ban.

“It is the most recommended user diary in Redstate history,” he said.

Paul's energetic online supporters managed to help him raise more than $5 million in the third quarter of this year, roughly tying Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.).

They’ve also ticked off an awful lot of people, including, apparently, Leon H. Wolf at Redstate, who calls them “annoying, time-consuming, and bandwidth-wasting.”

Wolf writes he is tired of “responding to the same idiotic arguments from a bunch of liberals pretending to be Republicans.”
If you don't support bombing/occupying other countries you are a lllliiiiibbuuurrrallll!

Of course, in all fairness Ron Paul is a classical liberal in the "small government, limited social intervention" sense. Whoop-de-doo.

I'm sure it's a surprise to many Dems that Ron Paul and his gang are a bunch of Liberals.

Libertarians tend to oppose massive government lifestyle regulation programs such as the War on Drugs, the War on Porn, the War of Christian Supremacism, etc. I guess that's why this guy thinks they're "liberals".

Just another piece of evidence that the modern GOP is nothing but a big mind-control cult. The ideas of those "not of the Body" aren't invited.

I've actually gotten into arguments with my brother over what Liberals/Liberalism are/is. From Merriam-Websters:
a theory in economics emphasizing individual freedom from restraint and usually based on free competition, the self-regulating market, and the gold standard
Ho-ho! I wonder who that sounds like?

Damn Liberals! *shakes fist*

Of course, a conservative in the Republican party will tell you the dictionary companies are in on the deal. I have had the dictionary, in my hands, pointing it out to my Brother, who replied:
The dictionary is wrong

So yes Degan, I think the mind-control cult thing is accurate.

I think a lot of people are in denial about Fred Thompson's chances (Fred Thompson has no chances).

At least Reagan had a full head of hair.

It seems as if the Republicans really, really want to split their party apart for the 2008 elections.
Turns out that a five way cross over between It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, the Ali G Show, Fargo, Idiocracy and Veep is a lot less funny when you're actually living in it.

IE; What a Republican is supposed to be.

Redstate.com? The twisted Bible-thumping, bomb-anything shit the party has devolved to. Ron Paul has never voted for a tax increase, or congressional pay-raise ever, if that can't make conservatives cream their pants...well, guess you need the other two these days.

Man's got my vote in the primary. Doubt he'll win...but fuck if I'm gonna vote for the "big" Republican candidates (Giulliani, Romney, Thompson and McCain).

I am just going to do my damndest to keep the Hildebeast from getting into the general election. Not because I think she is evil, not because I disagree with her platform. But because of two things. A) she is an opportunist among opportunists and that is unsettling. B) She will split the damn vote
