South Park Downs John Edwards

Post by Wicked Pilot »

Well, for those of you who missed it, South Park just gave the smack down to that con man John Edwards. He of course is the asshole who claims to talk to dead people and makes millions off hopeful people who are gulible enough to take his bullshit at face value.

To reaffirm what I might have said before, South Park rocks, and fuck you Edwards!

Of course he's a fraud and an asshole.

Besides, there's a reason he's on the Sci-Fi channel. :D

Yeah, this is a great episode, I liked the Rob Schneider stuff too ("Rob Schneider is derp du derp du derp in derp de derp de derp derp!!").

Also Will Ferrell did a hilarious sketch making fun of him in 2001 on SNL.

He's a conman, and a damn good.

His technique is nearly perfect, keeping it just vague enough to get a reaction, then hitting them with every more narrowed possibilities.

If he gets it wrong: "All I'm seeing is a picture, thats what they give me to work with."

I feel the need - to heckle... How do I get a ticket to his show?

Actually all you need to do is send a letter asking to be on the show...though I'm sure, it's more than that...but that's what it's said after the show.

And yes a good con man...though nice to see South Park hitting him just like Blaine :P

Ah, Blaine isn't really a conman though, he's just a douche.

He is very good at reading people, and he's a very bright guy. I've only seen a few brief little snippets, but he knows what he's doing. It was hard to even figure out how he knew things about people, but that was the fun of the show for me.

The funniest Edwards moment, though, was when he appeared on "Larry King." Basically, he was taking calls, and he was just guessing to see if people were right. I don't know what was wrong with him on that particular day, because when the callers would tell him "no," he would argue with them, and then Larry would cut them off and move to the next caller until they finally got one that he was marginally successful with.

The great thing is he lets the people being read do all the leg work.

He gives them a little bit of wool and they tug at it until it all unravels.

And the end had his real face plastered on screen as the Biggest Douche in the Universe award song was playing. This was definately a CLASSIC episode.

I think it's an upcoming show. There are previews already though.

And it's not all about lesbian sex. It's a dream interpretation show that happens to involve a multitude of lesbian sex.

Every once in a while its playing in the background as a Sci Fi movie I'm watching ends at 11:00 then he comes on and I'm too lazy to change the channel as I surf or write. He makes a good back ground drone while I'm working and ocassionally you have to stop and marvel at peopl's stupidity
