Me and Guitar Hero III...

Post by Chardok »

Okay, so GH III is awesome and I love it. But there's a problem (I think) You know that one illusion that has like two concentric rotating circles that you look at for like 30 seconds, then look away at your hand or something and it looks like your hand is all pulsating and weird?

Well, I get that every single time I play GH III. I play one level, then look away from the screen, and everything is all wonky like that for a few seconds. I don't know if that's just an effect of the game, if I'm focusing too hard on the screen, maybe I'm too close, too far, or if I'm just mssed up and should stop playing it altogether.

Opinions?

It's probably an effect of watching the fretboard scroll by the way it does in guitar hero.

Does it happen on the other games in the series or just GH III? I remember when the game froze during a song in GH II. The fretboard seemed like it was shaking, as if it stopped so fast it kind of "snapped back" into place.

My friends have noticed the same effect after an hour or so of Guitar Hero 2, I imagine the same holds true for GH3.

Happens all the time for me when I'm playing GH2.

My brother's noticed the same thing with GH2.
My working theory is it's all part of a secret brainwashing mindcontrol conspriracy.
