Fully Ascended beings have displayed enough power to be called Gods anyway, really. The only thing that holds them back from using their power to its fullest extent are other Ascended beings. For example, if an Ascended being abuses their power and interferes, the rest of the Ascended overpower the offender and kick them out of their exclusive little club.

Might foul up that idea a bit...
His other death was cooler, his stomach explodes on a field he bought with the money, leading to it being called the field of blood, instead of just being bought with blood money.

Or he could have just been human without any alien involvement and his alleged powers and miracles were just stories made up inspired by older ones.

Not very likely. Even fairly obscure deities worshipped by the Mayans have turned out to be Goa'uld.

It should be noted that the Asgard act little like the Norse Gods either, so saying that Yahweh or Jesus doesn't act like a Gou'ald is somewhat weak.

However, is this going to be like in MiB where they claim EVERYTHING was an alien invention? I don't see why all religions on Earth need to be alien inspired. It's not like humans aren't fully capable of making up their own bullshit.

Not all of Earth's religions were alien inspired. I believe it's mentioned in the series at some point that the Goa'uld assumed the identities of pre-existing Gods in Egyptian mythology. It wouldn't surprise me if the Asgard did the same.

Words can be twisted over time

...and in 1933-1945 Germany Hitler & pals were viewed as saints, hell skinheads an rednecks with a fetish for white bedsheets still view them as such

The Bible is basically the Christan "Mien Kempf"

...I don't know about you, but "Mien Kempf " isn't at the top of my list for factual accounts of WW2 Germany
...well since Mein Kampf was written when Hitler was jailed way before the second World War.
