There isn't that much difference in Rifts, when you consider that a suspected Great Old One could be removed from this plane of existence by a 1 kiloton nuclear detonation. 8 kilotons guarantees the destruction of the largest space dreadnought described, with full shields towards the detonation.

I can honestly see why. There are some examples of good firepower in the origanal series.... But then the earth bdz comes along in plot-induced weakness and macross/robotech debates becomes massive feeding frenzys. Its the primary example of suckness compared to the other examples of dbz's that would make the Empire scared.

And I belive he was referring to the origanal Macross timeline (Macross, Macross plus, 7).

Starcraft races should be higher, the Protoss can BDZ a planet way better than the Empire can (or at least way better than it is assumed the empire can do), and the UED and Zerg can both stand up to the Protoss.
